
In the mood for something light but healthy? This recipe is a great combination of tasty sweet fruit and healthy veggies to get your day started.
The Recipe
To Blend:
- 3/4 mango
- 1/4 apple
- 1 cup kale
- 1 cup spinach
- 2 mint leaves
- Juice from 1/2 lime
- 1 scoop Orgain Organic Plan-Based Protein Powder in Vanilla (or your favorite protein powder of choice)
- Splash of water (to blend)
To Top:
- 1/4 mango, diced
- 1 tsp bee pollen
- 1/4 cup granola
Why It’s Good:
- Spinach and kale contain vitamins A, C, and K, and folate. It’s also a great way to sneak a serving of veggies into your day.
- Local bee pollen (like local honey) can help with seasonal allergies!
Blend the blendables and top with toppings. Bee pollen is one of my favorite toppings for smoothie bowls because of its unique flavor and texture and because it can help with seasonal allergies (if you buy local).
