
Celebrate the star fruit of summer with this bright and fresh smoothie. The oats give it a nice heartiness that is sure to sustain you throughout the day.
The Recipe
To Blend:
- 1 peach
- 1/2 banana
- 1/8 cup oats
- 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 cup almond milk
To Top:
- 1/2 peach
- 1/4 cup granola
Why It’s Good:
- Chia seeds are a great source of omega-3s and protein.
- Oats are a whole grain packed with fiber. Since most Americans don’t get their daily recommended 3 servings of whole grains per day, this is a great way to get started early.
