Smoothie Saturday: Peach Raspberry

Peach Raspberry Smoothie

Summer = peaches = peach & anything smoothies. This sweet summer recipe is sure to bring the summer sun to your morning. Don’t have fresh peaches? Feel free to used jarred/canned (though beware of additives and sugar content if you do).

The Recipe

To Blend:

  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 peach
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Powder in Vanilla (or your protein of choice)
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • Dash of vanilla extract

To Top:

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp shredded coconut

Why It’s Good:

  • Raspberries are full of vitamins C and K as well as manganese. The 1/2 cup used in this recipe contains 1/6th of your daily recommended fiber need!
  • Chia seeds are packed with protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids (that’s one of the good kinds)

Blend the blendables and top with toppings. Enjoy the yummy summer taste and fun pink color!
