Coconut Mango Turmeric Smoothie

This recipe is modified from BourbonAndHoney‘s Coconut Mango Turmeric Smoothie.

The Recipe

For 2 servings

To Blend:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango
  • 5 tablespoons coconut milk (the vitamins in turmeric are best absorbed when consumed with healthy fats)
  • Splash of coconut water
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 serving of protein powder of choice
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

To Top:

  • Banana slices
  • 1 tsp coconut flakes
  • 1/4 tsp chia seeds

Blend the blendables and top with toppings. This smoothie is so delicious it is sure to become part of my regular rotation. Modify as needed or desired.
